Local News Update: After the Easter Sunday attacks by the end of the 2019/20 winter season, a central bank official said, tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka are expected to recover fully from the setbacks. Sri Lanka’s main tourism season runs with a peak in December from November to March.
After the bombings that hit three luxury hotels in Colombo and three churches, Sri Lanka’s tourist arrivals dropped 70.8 percent in May.
