Development News Update: The Colombo Port City’s 269 hectares of land officially declared a part of Sri Lanka at an event this evening (07) graced by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. The Colombo Port City is now officially open to investment, accordingly.
After the ceremony, a huge display of fireworks lit up the city sky of Colombo, commemorating the landmark moment.
In the presence of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, a commemorative stamp and cove for the first day was also given.
