Business News from Sri Lanka: The 18th KMPG MESA Partners Conference with the theme “Re-inventing to meet clients’ agenda,” brings together the partners of KPMG in the Middle Eastern and South Asian region.
KPMG (‘MESA’) is a sub-region within the KPMG network of member firms, with nearly 8,000 professionals and associates working across 33 office locations in 15 countries. KPMG’s regional office for the MESA which is located in the United Arab Emirates, oversees the rollout of regional strategy and monitors the progress of KPMG member firms in the region.
KPMG Sri Lanka was able to secure the position as 2019’s host firm, being the oldest firm in the MESA region with a proud history spanning over 120 years. Further, the Managing Partner Reyaz Mihular, was appointed Chairman of the region this year, with a seat on the EMA Board and Global Council.
The KPMG MESA Partners’ Conference would be held on November 6 and 7 in Colombo, with the participation of over 100 partners from MESA region along with Chairman – KPMG International, Bill Thomas, who would be visiting Sri Lanka for the first time and the Chairman, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA) Region Sikander Sattar.
