Development News from Sri Lanka: Several projects were initiated under the President’s idea of the Pibidemu Polonnaruwa District Development Project. On the basis of a concept of President Maithripala Sirisena, the Pibidemu Polonnaruwa project launched to develop Polonnaruwa is being introduced.
Several projects launched under this program were carried out in the citizens, including North Central Governor Sarath Ekanayake, with the participation of public representatives.
Under this program a two-storeyed Pansalgodella Somadevi Junior School building was opened. The cost of this project was 13.2 million rupees. The new Dana Sala that was built at Veheragala’s Maldeniya Sri Dhammarakkitha Viveka Senasune was in the Sangha. It also opened the new two-storeyed building built at the Sarananda Pirivena in Pihitiwewa at a cost of 8.1 million rupees.
