Local News from Sri Lanka: President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a Commission of five to investigate the terrorist attacks of Easter Sunday.
The Commission will be headed by Judge Janak de Silva of the Court of Appeal and will consist of Judge Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne of the Court of Appeal, Judge Nihal Sunil Rajapaksa of the Retired High Court, Judge Atapattu Liyanage Bandula Kumara Atapattu, and Secretary W. M. M. Adhikari of the Retired Ministry.
Reportedly, yesterday (21) was issued the Gazette Extraordinary relevant to this appointment.
