Business News from Sri Lanka: Cinnamon’s Summer Escapes 2019, a combination of three distinctive edutainment camps, including West End Theater Camp, Culinary Camp, and Summer Camp, recently effectively completed by Cinnamon at Habarana Village.
Facilitated by guiding local and foreign experts, each camp not only helped kids identify their talents, but also motivated them to take on new challenges while having fun, exploring their environment and developing significant life abilities.
From getting a boost of trust to becoming more independent, each kid was motivated to think out of the box and work with fellow team members during the many operations, games, excursions and courses that took place in the camps. Under the knowledge of the extremely renowned global director and choreographer, Jonny Bowles, together with two renowned drama specialists, Associate Director, Choreographer and Acting Coach Jon-Scott Clark, and David Roper, Musical Director and Vocal Coach, kids were able to practice the art of stage management, singing, theatrics, music, vocabulary and diction.
Cinnamon Culinary Camp kicked off also at Cinnamon Lakeside and was open to children between 7 to 13 years of age. Summer Camp by Cinnamon was conducted allowing children to sleep in camps minus their parents.
Children also got the chance to embark on an unforgettable excursion to Kaudulla National Park to witness the gathering of elephants with Nature Trails.
The camp took its entertainment to a different height with the star musicians Bathiya and Santhush training children in groups for an evening performance and the duo themselves performing at the Gala camp party.
The evening celebrations had a surprise visit by former Miss Sri Lanka and Bollywood actress, Jacqueline Fernandez.
