Local News from Sri Lanka:Due to heavy rains in the country, the Road Development Authority advised drivers to keep a maximum speed limit of 60 kmph while using the Southern Expressway.
These instructions were given following a crash close the Southern Expressway exit Kahathuduwa involving six cars that yesterday left two people wounded (Sept 15). Police said the accident was caused by slippery highways. At the Homagama hospital, the wounded people are receiving therapy.
