Local News from Sri Lanka: After recording a statement, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe left the Inquiry Presidential Commission. It is noted, however, that the Prime Minister is planned to return at 1.30 pm to the Presidential Commission.
Recently, the Presidential Commission issued a summons to appear before the Commission on Prime Minister Wickremesinghe to acquire a declaration on the lease of the D.P.A. Jayasinghe Building housing the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Commission had to acquire a declaration from the Prime Minister on the Cabinet Paper he presented on September 21, 2015 to take over for Parliamentary Committees the building “Govijana Mandiraya,” which housed the Ministry of Agriculture, also testified concerning the probe.
