Local News from Sri Lanka: Rs.2, All Island Bakery Owners Association said the cost of a normal loaf of bread is now reduced. N.K.Jayawardena, president of the Association, told news media that this decision had been made since they were notified that the price of wheat flour would be lowered by Rs.5.50.
Last week, Rs 2 raised the bread price after the Prima Company raised wheat flour rates by Rs.5.50.
