Business News from Sri Lanka: More than 300,000 individuals visited Jaffna Muttraveli grounds to see the exhibition of Enterprise Sri Lanka held there on Monday until its third day. It said the main zone of the Enterprise Sri Lanka Exhibition, the Entrepreneurship Zone, is drawing the largest government response.
Nearly 2000 individuals had acquired original registration by the end of the third day on Monday to receive state interest relief loans from state banks in the zone from Enterprise Sri Lanka to realize their business aspirations.
Actual lending would be addressed by branches of government banks located in the applicants ‘ respective housing fields. Special attention was paid to credit systems such as’ Ran Aswenna’ and’ Govi Navoda’ with the aim of transforming agriculture into marketing and mechanization.
A unique program was introduced on a proposition made by Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera to allow war widows and rehabilitated combatants to easily receive Enterprise Sri Lanka loans. On Friday and Saturday, a two-day workshop will be held at the Jaffna District Secretariat
