Technology News from Sri Lanka: Canon’s EOS M6 Mark II had less than a day to feel nice before Sony put two fresh cameras in the same price range. We now have the Alpha 6600 and the Alpha 6100 that enter the mid-range sequence of mirrorless cameras of the company.
The Alpha 6600 is the latest 6000-series flagship. It features an APS-C sensor with Sony’s E-mount of 24.2 megapixels. For 5-axis in-body stability, the sensor is optically stabilized. The AF scheme features 425-point stage detection points for individuals and livestock, including in video, with real-time monitoring and real-time eye tracking. With AF and AE lock with the mechanical shutter and 8fps with the electronic shutter, the camera is capable of 11fps burst capture.
