The introduction of innovative technology from one of the best brands in the world, John Deere, was Singer Sri Lanka’s emphasis on bringing down the finest materials to the current Agri-Machinery sector in Sri Lanka. At present, Singer Sri Lanka markets two-wheel tractors and for the fourth year has been named market leaders.
With their present market position and being No. 1 on the two-wheel tractor market, they only saw it fitting to select and bring it to the nation from the best in worldwide Agri machinery technology.
The present market demand for Agri equipment in Sri Lanka is high, and this came as a timely initiative to introduce the 4WD tractor and meet the user-friendly, cost-effective and innovative technology requirements for their customers. With the expertise of Singer Sri Lanka in this industry and their island-wide network of established dealers, they can leverage on this and guarantee that these products are available.

In the long run, we look forward to unveiling more products in this category in the growth of the agricultural sector. “At the launch, three John Deere models were introduced, the 3036E, 5045D and 5047D with respectively 36, 47 and 45 horsepower.
Key features include, among other things, power steering, a strong hydraulic system and a strong safety bar for lifting ability. Both the 3036E and 5045D are only available on a 4-wheel drive while the 5047D is accessible as a 2-wheel drive that can be turned to a 4WD drive. There is a 42 blade rotovator with the purchase of one of these designs that comes free with it. Other accessories like disk ploughs, tine tillers and front loaders can also be bought individually and readily integrated into these tractors.
