Colombo Police CCTV system to get upgraded

Local News from Sri Lanka: Colombo’s surveillance system (CCTV) will be technically developed in the future, said DIG Ajith Rohan. The CCTV system being used now is 10 years old, and DIG further said CCTV cameras will be formed to clearly identify the number plate of the vehicle and get a good perspective of the driver’s face. Colombo uses about 103 cameras.
