The store was opened to provide an chance for 35 families in the region to sell their goods after providing them with training and facilities to create clay goods. Nearly 5 million rupees were allocated under the village development program for 35 households in Uhana, Maligathanne area. The occasion was attended by a group of individuals including Minister Daya Gamage and Minister of State Anoma Gamage.
