Development News from Sri Lanka: The Hambantota International Port Group (HIPG) recently received recognition at the Taj Samudra Hotel Colombo at the Sri Lankan Best Employer Brand Awards.
CHRO ASIA, a Global Platform for Heads of Human Resources, supports the awards organized by the Employer Branding Institute in collaboration with the World HRD Congress and the World Federation of HR Professionals. The Sri Lankan Best Employer Brand Awards feature leading organizations in the nation with an outstanding track record in their leadership of human resources combined with the effective use of marketing communications for the growth of human resources.
The award criteria are based on translating and combining vision and action with HR strategy; building lines for meshing HR strategy with business; fostering future skills to enable organization building to be ready for the future; diversified culture within the organization; employee benefits and engagement; and providing women leaders with equal opportunities.
