Business News from Sri Lanka: AIA headquarters staff and North and East Regional Offices traveled to Mahiyanganaya to provide the 50-year-old Mahiyanganaya Base Hospital with a fresh coat of paint and a clean-up.
The hospital looks after a big amount of clients, catering for the OPD to a population in the region of over 550,000. The enthusiastic team of volunteers from AIA color-washed and cleaned the entire OPD unit and renovated the two washrooms as well. Dr. Prasad Jayasundara-Mahiyanganaya base hospital’s medical superintendent thanked AIA for their efforts and stated that this will definitely help to create a favorable patient atmosphere.
