SriLankan Airlines has made preparations to minimize inconvenience to its valued passengers at London’s Heathrow Airport that may occur as a result of the strike action planned by the ground staff of Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL) on the 5th and 6th of August.
SriLankan currently does not envisage any cancelation of its flights and will function as scheduled on a periodic basis. SriLankan has strengthened its own passenger and cargo activities at both Heathrow’s arrival and departure terminals, with extra staff on standby. The regions most probably to be impacted, however, include security screening operated by HAL and not under SriLankan’s jurisdiction.
SriLankan Airlines regrets any inconvenience to its valued travelers because of conditions beyond its control and will do all it can to minimize this inconvenience.
A part of the Oneworld worldwide airline partnership, SriLankan Airlines runs a route network of 111 towns in 48 nations from its Colombo hub and also connects through its Oneworld partner airlines to over 1,000 towns in 160 nations.
