The National Information and Communication Technology Solutions Provider in the nation, Sri Lanka Telecom, recently hosted eighteen regional activities parallel to the launch of the National Digital Roadmap under the theme of “SMART Sri Lanka.”
These regional events took place in Gampaha, Kalagedihena, Wadduwa, Galle, Matara, Ratnapura, Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Moneragala, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Chilaw, Kurunegala, Jaffna, Batticaloa and Ampara, with the involvement of more than 4500 representatives of the regional government, company clients and the general public. The regional sessions included presentations of awareness, debate forums and live protests. In order to promote the protests, SLT company partners such as Sri Lanka Telecom Services, SLT Digital Info Services, Fentons Limited (Pvt) Ltd, Epic Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, SALA Enterprises, Finco Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and E-solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd also entered.
