This year’s award was given to the NGage Strategic Alliance with the Brand Leadership Award at the Mumbai World Marketing Conference, which organizes annual CMO Asia’s programs to acknowledge Asian organizations, brands and people who have proved their excellence.
NGage is the 26-year old Sri Lankan pioneer in the field of integrated marketing communications, the first prize under its new brand. For this consultancy established by the veteran ad man and advertising guy Nimal Gunewardena, it is the company that promotes a new and expanded vision.
The organization lately succeeded Sheron Jayasundara, a company’s 23-year-old stalwart, who took over the position of CEO, and Nimal reinstating his position as the President and CEO of the Company. The board of directors of Sheron and CFO Chamika has also become a board member, now reflecting the Agency’s gender-balanced professional executive. “We are pleased to be able to track and recognize businesses by means of our own studies on the CMOAsia radar,” Nimal Gunewardena said.
“Sheron was acknowledged as a pioneering leader last year and this year they found out that an empowering employer is behind each empowered female.”
