Research Team, the securities arm of Sri Lanka’s investment banking company and preferred partner on the financial market, produced a smooth sweep of prizes in all categories competed at the CFA Society Sri Lanka’s recent 7th Annual Capital Market Awards.
This year, CAL has earned a range of awards including Best Research Team Gold Awards, Best Equity Research Report, Best Sector Report, and Best Equity Research Report Bronze Award. CAL has won the Gold Award for Best Equity Research Report and Best Sector Report for the second year in a row.
The selection method was based on a mixed assessment by an expert panel of capital market experts and a feedback study of investors. The award category of the Best Stockbroking Research Team recognizes the stockbroking firm that offers the best overall quality, breadth and investor reach research.
Commenting on the awards, Harinlal Aturupane, Managing Director of Capital Alliance Securities (Pvt) Ltd, said, “This year, CAL was competing to win Gold in all categories.
